Stitch Maynia Weeks 3-4

Ok, I haven't managed to stitch daily during the last half of May, but I switched to some of my WIPs for a nice little change, and actually had a lot of enjoyment from them.

We also spent a couple of days away with friends during the school hols and I've been interviewing for a wonderful job, so it's been a super busy time.

Anyway, back to the stitching updates... here they are!

Bluebell Lane by Derwentwater Designs

Dolphins' Domain by Dimensions

Holodeck piece from Star Trek Cross Stitch book

Seas The Day part 4 by Caterpillar Cross Stitch

Seashore piece by Dimensions

Tea Ceremony (Snipz) (Esmira) by Paine Free Crafts

Ugly Duckling by Dimensions

A little bit here and there and I'm really happy... lots of different colours, so it's hard to be bored with these!  Hope all of you that were joining in enjoyed Stitchmaynia 2019!

Turtle Trot SAL Update 5

A couple of days late again, I don't know where the weeks are vanishing to. I'm finishing my volunteering at the end of May so I'm hoping that a couple of extra days a week will give me more stitchy time and prep time to get ready and organised for the baby arriving.  Off topic, but we ordered the pram at the weekend and it's arriving this week... eek! first big purchase and it's all getting more real now!

As for the SAL Update... well, the Seashells have hardly progressed - I have put a few stitches in but not much, but the cat is doing well!  Here are the update photos!

Turtle Trot Update 4

Hello everyone,

Firstly, thanks for the comments that some of you left on my last post - my apologies that I didn't get to reply, but thank you!

I'm still plodding along with the Turtle Trot, which is somewhat slowed down by trying to work on projects for book reviews for the Significant Seams blog...too many projects, not enough time!

However, it being a bit more summery, I decided to pull out the seashells again (which I am hating, I think it's the stiff fabric and the too small needle) and to do a bit more on the cat whilst I've been sitting at home or on the tube.  So, here are my updates for those!

More posting in the next few days about the things I picked up at the Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts show just over a week ago.

Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Seashell Treasures started

Hello there!

Firstly, can I just say... 'Brrrrrrrrrrrr!'

I know, it's November - and usually by Bonfire Night it's freezing.  But I most definitely have pulled out the wooly scarves and gloves this week.  And the heating is finally on.  But as well as that I have to put on extra jumpers because my hands always seem cold and it's very hard to stitch with cold hands.

Anyway, I've been working on a bit more of Moonlit Waters, but I'm almost at the end of Page 4, so I'm going to wait until it's done before I post the photo of that.  I still can't believe I'm only on Page 4, how long is it going to take me to get that finished, I wonder.

But my travelling/evening project at the moment is a Dimensions chart called Seashell Treasures.  This is where I've got to after about a week of working on it on and off:

Hope you are all lovely and cosy wherever you are... enjoy the rest of the week and have fun if you're heading to a bonfire tonight :)
